Inside Trinity Church at Broadway and Wall street. Beautiful architecture, woodwork and stained glass.

Trinity Church has a beautiful pipe organ, and a music service around noon every day.

Outside the church is a small graveyard and garden. It's a peaceful place - a true sanctuary.

Along the waterfront we found this sculpture created in honor of the USA merchant marines who perished during the war.

We took the ferry to Staten Island, which is a free ferry trip that happens to sail by the Statue of Liberty. Tourists can also pay $10 to take a small boat out to the statue, but the statue itself is closed to the public.

A couple from England took our photo, with the Statue of Liberty in the background.

To walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, we first had to walk underneath it.

Seems that you can sometimes find beauty in unexpected places.

From the Brooklyn Bridge you can get a good view of Lower Manhattan.  It takes about half an hour to walk across the bridge one way (if you walk slowly). Quite a few people were running or cycling across, and lots of families were out for a stroll.
